Want to get blue tick on Instagram? Follow THIS simple formula | Technology News

New Delhi: Meta-owned Instagram gives users who have verified their accounts a blue tick, or as the company prefers, a “verified badge”. This logo helps users distinguish between fake and real accounts of brands, celebrities and other users on the platform. The blue tick should not be interpreted as a “symbol to demonstrate the importance, authority, or competence of the subject area,” as Instagram specifically states.

The steps you can take to verify your Instagram account are listed below. Know that simply applying does not guarantee that you will receive the verified badge. (Also Read: Cyrus Mistry: 5 Important Facts to Know About the Former Chairman of the Tata Group)

Additionally, if an account is found to be in violation of any platform-specific rules and standards, the Company has the right to remove the badge as it deems appropriate. (Also Read: Amazon India Big Sale: Huge Discounts on iPhone, iQOO, Oppo, Vivo and many more, check details)

Verification process for your Instagram account:

Open the Instagram app.

– Log in with credentials.

– Click on your profile picture.

– In the right corner there are horizontal lines. Click on it.

Click on the “Settings” option from the menu.

Click on the “Account” option.

Click on the “Request Verification” option.

Fill in the appropriate details.

Upload all required documents.

Click on the “Send” option.

After placing your order, you will find out within 30 days whether the account has been verified or not. If your application is rejected, you can apply again after 30 days. “Applying for a badge that has been verified multiple times before receiving a decision will result in your application being cancelled,” Instagram said.
