New Delhi: Chinese mobile phone company Realme has launched its Narzo 50i Prime smartphone in India. The budget smartphone will be available in two colors – dark blue and mint green. The phone has two memory options – 3 GB / 32 GB and 4 GB / 64 GB. The smartphone will go on sale through the official Realme website, major channels, and online through Amazon starting from September 23. However, Amazon Prime customers can order the phone in advance daily, that is, starting September 22.
The Realme Narzo 50i Prime packs a powerful 5000mAh battery that the company claims can last for 24 hours even with gaming and video browsing. The smartphone maker claims that the phone comes with an ultra power saving mode that can support basic functions such as 1.5 hours of WhatsApp chatting or 2.3 hours of calling with a 5 percent battery.
The smartphone has a triple card slot – two SIM cards and one memory card. Supports external memory up to 1 TB.
Realme Narzo 50i Prime is powered by Unisoc T612 SoC and Octa-crore CPU – 2 Cortex-A75s and 6 Cortex-A55s. The company claims to have an AnTuTu benchmark score of 209832.
The new Realme smartphone runs Realme UI R Edition based on Android 11 out of the box. It comes with a 6.5-inch HD + LCD screen with a hole that contains a 5-megapixel selfie camera, and it features a single primary camera with an 8-megapixel sensor. The screen-to-body ratio is around 88.7 percent with a screen brightness of 400 nits.
The Narzo 50i Prime features a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. The price for the 3GB/32GB variant is Rs 7,999 and the 4GB/64GB variant is Rs 8,999.
The slim 8.5mm smartphone comes in a stage-light design with a solid texture on the back and weighs 182 grams.
