New Delhi: The exorbitant price tag of Apple’s all-new iPhone 14 Pro only cemented its aspirational status in our nation. The 1TB storage option has a staggering price tag of Rs 1,79,990, while the entry-level 128GB model is priced at Rs 1,29,990. The desire for the latest iPhones, especially PRO models, is known to scammers. This new website ‘Moltox.in’ is offering latest iPhone 14 Pro 1 TB model for just Rs. 6,499 when using the “Sale5” promo code.
Two clear warning signs are that this website does not offer Cash on Delivery (CoD) and the pricing they mentioned for the iPhone 14 Pro 1TB model is inaccurate. Despite the fact that the website lists the retail price of the 1TB iPhone 14 Pro as Rs. 1,29,900, the actual amount is Rs. 1.79990. Grammar and math errors are common among scammers. The base version of the iPhone 14 Pro, which has 128GB of storage, costs Rs. 1,29,990. Considering that Apple is notorious for never lowering the prices of its products, 90 percent off this 4-month-old flagship phone is incredibly sweet. Other best selling items are also available online. Coupon codes 90% off are valid for most products because they are just a scam, including Macbook Pro 16, AirPods MAX, and more. If you look closely, you will find that all equipment specifications are off, which is typical for scam artists.
Even the gray market prices of the iPad Pro and iPhone 14 Pro are close to the prices we see in Apple Stores. This shows that due to the COVID disruption in China, Apple is having problems meeting demand for Pro models. Even an iPhone 14 Pro copycat from China that runs an iOS shell on Android can set you back more than Rs 6,500.
